Servants to All Poster
The poster for an ad campaign for kindness; it was a grad school project that I turned into a collaboration with Pottsville’s only homeless shelter, Servants to All Ministry. I felt a modern, typographical approach would be easily read and received by the community to garner support.
Inclusion
The first of a concept ad for Servants to All. When collaborating with the director, he gave me a series of three words that he wanted his service to embody: inclusion, trust worthiness, and dignity.
Trust Worthy
The second concept ad for Servants to All Ministry; it is one of the three words given to my by the director that the service seeks to embody.
Dignity
The third concept ad for Servants to All Ministry; it is one of the three words given to my by the director that the service seeks to embody.
Pigeon Popper
This is the layout for a package design for an imaginary product; it was created as a graduate assignment to create an invention that could change the world. As I had already addressed homelessness in a previous assignment, I felt compelled to add some levity to the issue by designing a product that employed individuals could buy for the homeless to assuage their consciences. It did accompany a hilariously bad and irreverent commercial that is somewhere on YouTube. You can also tell how much I love Futura.
Shortbus Bicycles Logo
Shortbus Bicycles is a used bicycle company based out of Milford, CT. They buy, sell, and repair bicycles to pull them out of the waste stream and make them available and accessible to more people. The owners wanted the logo to feature an actual short bus with bicycle wheels, and I felt compelled to design a custom logotype. (Also of note: they do actually own a short school bus to do business out of.)
